Look at this way, you can fix those from the inside so you don't have to brave the shit weather. 😄 As nasty as it looks, those bits don't have to look perfect when done as they're going to be hidden. Not sure I'd even bother with repair panels, just build it up piecemeal as and when. Unless you can get the entire sections, then it would be easier just to spot them in. grizz 1

juular Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The floor panels would obviously save you a great deal of time, but then they are also probably the easiest areas just to let in some bits of metal as they are largely flat, or with ribbed sections that you can bend with pliers. If you could get the entire shock mount tubs then you'd only have to drill out the spot welds, then plug weld the new ones on. Alignment could be an issue though, as it will affect rear geometry I assume? First thing I'd do is strip back that paint as far as possible. Be brutal. If it's pitted, it will probably need to be cut out and replaced. grizz 1

I would cut my losses and get rid fast - something I did with a Porsche 944 about 10 years ago which (bought unseen 😔) purported to have acceptable sills and floors. After a short inspection and unpicking of well-applied filler etc. I gave up the ghost when I put my arm through a hole in the floor which exited through the sill. Never again!
