Im soon to be moving into the Riverside garage in Christchurch with the lads which is the homage so all things retro Jap AKA Heaven for me lol..........

NOW UPDATED WITH "FAST FOURS AND ROTARY SHOW"

 

This show was epic as it wasnt really just the Sat show but a whole weekend of car mayhem!!

 

Friday and Saturday nights we we out in various cool cars like a slammed Toyota Hilux Twincab Pickup, Datsun 1200 Sedan and my new love..... a 1979 Nissan Gloria Pillarless 4 door that all belong to people that Ive met here.

Ive never seen crusing like it!!! Litterly 1000s of cars whether big turbo power or old skool were crusing the streets until at least 4am in the morning. It had an awesome party atmosphere with music and everyone just comming out and having fun. I cannot describe the atmosphere but it was incredable.

 

Then there was the Sat show at the arena which I guess is Like our MAX POWER SHOW back home...... only no chavs and some massively cool cars! Ill let the pics do the talking on that.

 

Sunday was the organised Drag Racing which saw some of the fastest NZ cars there along with big teams such as PAC Performance with their 8 second Mazda RX3 Rotary! The car park for this was better than lots of shows Ive been to in the UK lol.

 

All in all an awesome weekend and a good start to my stay in Christchurch.
