This is the Moskovitch 408 prototype, 1962. I think they dropped the 'two girls in the boot' option.

In the 1920s, Ernesta 'Ernes' Merck, née Rogalla von Bieberstein, was one of the most successful and well-known female racing drivers in Germany. Here she is with her 1927 'S' class.

Anyone in the chemistry game should instantly recognise 'Merck'. Yes, it's that Merck.

A Moskvich 407 in New York, 1960 and it's happy driver. Not sure of the context, is it an attempt to sell them there? Is it a consulate car?

I'm assuming that's an aftermarket two-tone as i've never seen one like that before on a 105e.
