The 96's are a lovely car to drive. Admittedly, not to everyones taste, but they just go where you point them, especially the 2 strokes. The weight distribution when they've got the 3cylinder engine in instead of the V4 is superb. Just don't lift off mid corner if it's slippery, coz you've gotta be quick to try and catch them once they go.Mmm, all this talk of 96's, I wanna find one now to add to my collection.Anyone know of one sat unloved in a driveway or garden? Will

There is a Saab 96 two-stroke in a scrappy in Cov at the mo. Needs a fair tickle with a welder I reckon.Anyway, my 900 has a new caliper and is back in use. Forgot how perky that engine is - around 130bhp. Great fun! But, too many similar cars mean it has to go. £400 anyone?

Sorry to be a pain, but you don't know the name of it by any chance? :)

No worries. Would be grateful if you could ask. I'm probably to late anyway, I normally am  I usually hear about these things either the day after they've gone/been squashed or just as the nice scrap man's picked them up by the roof with his chains, re-shaping the roof panel in the process. Will
