Just spotted this photo from a thread on Pistonheads, The chap said he saw this as he overtaking it and took the photo!

 

Must of reversed into another car and got it's bumper stuck to his towbar but imagine if it had fallen of on the motorway!

That Passat driver should get nicked for that. That's at least driving without due care and attention. As the OP says, had that hit another car, or a motorcyclist...

My mate did this unintentionally a couple of weeks ago. Someone in a Ford Ka parked too close to his BX. My mate starts it up, the towbar hooks underneath the bumper and when he goes to move forward, off comes the bumper! He unhooked it, pushed it back into place and drove off...Slightly different as it's a good demonstration of why you shouldn't park too close to a hydraulic Citroen...

I was on a bus that pulled the bumper of a mondeo as it was pulling out of the bus-stop, driver got out, pushed it back in place and drove on! queue about 50 people on the bus pissing themselves laughing!what is it about mk1 mondeo bumpers, i don't think i've seen one that wasn't broken or in primer, or a wrong-colour replacement...twats driving them or just an easy target?
