MrDuke Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Thing is, I LOVE this, and would roll it all day long. It's nothing like the MR2 etc kits you see floating around - it's just a complete laff, like a huge MicroMachines model that actually works! Agreed, the spoiler would probably fall off after 10 miles, but meh.EDIT: Shit, didn't realise it was actually a whizzkid. In that case, shoot the fuckers.
Gompo Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Although I've seen it a good few times, I'm only now actually having a good look at it.Has the rear hatch/screen been broken?Although it's a shame to waste a Whizzkid it has been done as a joke rather to actually make people think it's a Ferrari - or atleast that's what I am guessing. Although we on here like Whizzkids I think the general perception of them is as a bit of a joke car? They're before my time so I dont really know what people thought of them, but they certainly werent classed as a proper sports car.To me it's a lot better than the TR40s, Pug 456s and MR355s. These were supposed (and some are) quite good cars in their own right. MR2s and 406s are well respected and even TR7/8s have quite a following and some heritage.
Station Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Judging by the piece of window on the back, I'd say, yes, he's broken the rear screen! Not sure what to think of it, I bet it looks bizarre having that huge spoiler on such a small car.
