Gumtree

Anyone use Gumtree?I did a search for it and nothing came up, so assume no one on here has ever got any cars off it?

I've never bought of it but there is often some cheap cars come up, and also a lot of shit so you have to be careful, Sadly gumtree now makes my computer freeze when i go on it and the only way out is to close every window so i don't bother using it now, Think it might be to do with the ads on it.

I sold my wife's car on there, after getting no interest on eBay last year. You can only put a limited amount of text and 3 pictures on Gumtree, so when the bloke rang up I pointed him in the direction of the eBay listing for more gen.It's still free, but Gumtree "suggest" that you pay various amounts to keep the listing near the top, in a similar manner to an eBay featured listing.

I must admit I am a regular gumtree voyeur. Being free you can get a good variety of really cheap stuff that would be uneconomical to advertise.
