Ronin,s a great film , they filmed all that chase one Sunday morning very early , all the roads were odviously closed , every car you see was driven by a stunt driver and most importantly no CGI , great

I heard the they used a converted RHD 406 and sat DeNiro next to the stuntman! Apparently that look on his face isn't his famous "method acting" but genuine fear!!!In those old 1970's euro car chases did they always close the roads off because they seem to have a better degree of realism than the newer stuff?

I would say not, in the case of the Alain Delon/Lancia Gamma vid at least, as you can see a UK-reg'd Maxi on the Peripherique at one point, as the CX and Gamma dart in and out of traffic.
