messing around on the net and I did a search for Ickworth Lodge in Suffolk. Reason being my Aunt still lives in cottages there and back in the early 80's My Aunt & Uncle rented the lodge from the National Trust and turned it into a retirement home.

 

We spent quite a lot of time there as kids, especially while the place was being renovated. As you can imagine, it was a fantastic place for me and my brother at about 10 and 12 years old to have adventures in!

 

Anyway, this is the 1st pic on google images and below is a pic taken in 81/82 by my dad.

 

It is our brand new Fiesta Popular Plus in the foreground with my Uncles collection of Fords in the background...a Mk1 Capri, Mk2 Granada and Mk4 Cortina 2.0S..
