Passat has landed.

Its not bad, I fear it needs a cambelt! We have evidence of 'toothed belt replacement' in the service book in 2008 at 54 thou miles - its now 2019, and 160k miles with no recent record!

As soon as I drove it the steering felt heavy towards full lock, as far as I can see we have a split CV boot.

 

So? Project to get it driving like it should and looking a lot nicer?

Could do with a really good clean up/out, Ex owners were heavy smokers! 

Will post some 'after' pics when I get it Valeted.

 

I like the colour and the window tint. MOT almost up on the saab so I may take this on in place when Saabs MOT runs out!

Second keyfob is now working, new battery in but there was a button in resting, have altered the plastic so the button isnt resting and now its working!! You have to press through the press unlock but it works!
