Twingo for SD1 swap anyone?

O.K. its a little extreme...... Mrs E has decided she wants an early pastel buttoned Twingo and she's prepared to swap my SD1 for it. She's nice like that. Probally because I have sorted all the scabs, stuck an mot on and had the carbs set up to perfection. The did 700 miles to Wales in it. Wimin

Wimin indeed Early Twingos are ace though. I had one about ten years ago (OMG, was it really that long ) and loved it. They are a bit basic but are pretty strong mechanically, but they can rust a bit. Renault can supply RHD headlights if it doesn't already have them too.Seen as she wants one, can she not be persuaded for a bit of a road trip - Ryanair to Nimes, pick up a decent early Twingo which hopefully is pretty tidy then drive through France home?

I think I couldn't be with a woman who tried to make me get rid of stuff, we wouldn't last very long. It would have to enter into early conversations to detect whether it is likely to be a problem or not. If that means staying single, then so be it...Wuvvum has the right idea there methinks

That chaps my mate Pog, I think it was a hurry up salute. Bloody cheeky really as I'm driving his otherwise abandonded Audi coupe* back from Prague Tuesday for the cost of petrol!*I won't mention the crazy chardiee rally he is going on, it just this mota has done the stelvio , the ring, is parked for a year and goes straight through a ticket. Seems a shame to abandon it it a Prague scrappie when me and Keith can thrap it back across europe!
