DaveDorson Posted July 5, 2019 Author Posted July 5, 2019 Oh you'll all be happy to know I sold the Merc wheels for proper money. And I've been given a set of ML wheels from a mate who had them on a van previously.. I might sell them on at Bug Jam later this month. Tickman and LightBulbFun 2

DaveDorson Posted August 19, 2019 Author Posted August 19, 2019 I've used this as accommodation for the last couple of race events, loaded up with tools, drink and stuff for me to sleep in, so I've really nothing to report other than it's doing what it's meant to do. I do need to do a better job of the wheel arches and sort the rears out before they get much worse. A rear wiper has stopped working, and I've not yet bolted in the clutch re-enforcement plate for the pedal box. I will need to replace the exhaust soon. The PAS leak was "fixed" by swapping the correct green fluid for two bottles of Lucas Stop Leak, but I do need to get new gaitors as the ones on have degraded. Tyres are still old and crap, I've still got the Merc ML alloys with non load rated tyres on, so they're still not fitted. I'll probably just re-shod the steelies and keep it looking standard and using it as a van, because it does it really well
