More Lotus paint stripping.......Shite workmanship uncovered!!

The front section of the bar is now stripped of paint. On the NSF wing a bad repair is revealed and it looks as though some muppet has used an grinder on the grp.....it's going to take some work to properly repair and re profile..

Would have thought the 'cracks' are repair joint seams where the front end has been replaced.

 

The holes are probably bullet style door mirrors mounted forward for visibility.

Looks fine to me.

You should have seen my Mini Marcos, and my Dutton sprayed with Dulux gloss.

The holes I have since found out are wheres there should be tenax fasteners for the tonneau cover.

 

There has definitely not been a front repair section fitted, I thought the same until I stripped the N/S
