American fire engines are stupid. Just get in the the thing for fuck sake. What benefit does hanging off it do other than you get to the fire and there's no one there to put it out as they've all been collected by a big wheely bin that was sticking too far out into the road when they went past.

It does not have MOT so will need to be trailered away.

I think it will need some welding on the sills for the MOT the rest looks ok,

 

Fair enough but you do know anyone can now check the old MOT history??

Mk1 Legacies are getting thin on the ground now, and this one doesn't look too bad - although the test has run out which is potentially slightly worrying.

For some bizarre reason he's listed it in both the Anti-Roll / Sway Bars category and the Knobs, Buttons & Switches category, thus presumably paying two sets of listing fees without managing to advertise it in the right place.

Oh wait yes. I remember I had a 1.4D AX not their finest work.

 

They sold 405s with the n/a XUD until the end, I've driven a Citroen Dispatch with an n/a XUD and even that was okay - it's a good engine, outpunches its bare power figures, and you don't have to fight with the turbo so it feels more sprightly at low speeds.
