If I had the skills, resources, time and cash I would like to take that on, get it properly finished.

But I havn't, so it is probably doomed.

I like BMC Farinas and I like car-based pickups but this would be a better bet:

Has the Riley grille too which is my favourite.  Ã‚£3500

It's a long way from home though.

To me it's heresy, like getting a Model T Ford and turning it into a shopping trolley. Still, I guess it's up to the owner what they do with their own property.

I had a pick-up, it was the most useless car I ever owned.

I just love the idea of a lorry with a twin cam.

Was there any company apart from Alfa that made such a thing?

So it was shite. Which is what this forum is all about

“This is a very sound car that needs minor work to finishâ€Â

I would dispute whether "a complete respray" was 'minor work'.

THE INSIDE OF THE CAR IS VERY TIDY

Hi , welcome to the auction for my skoda 1.9 d which has covered 96,000 miles and is taxed and tested until the end of this month,I did plan to convert the pick up into a one off flat bed  due to the state of the rear quarters, but due to working away again I just havent got the time, this can be used as a pick up again if wanted , will just need new rear quarters and bed tub,

What was he planning to do with the rear shocks?

This is very nice, It was for sale at the garage around the corner for a long while.

It is stored inside an air chamber in my garage and is never out in the rain or winter.

Seems a bit odd, It spent all of the winter and most of the wet Spring sat outside on the garage forecourt.

This will split some opinions.

$_49.JPGNow, a nice GTV6 has long been on my list of "Stuff I will buy when teh Lottery pays out", preferably in silver or black with the 5 spoke Revolutions on it..... anyhoo....This one appears to be a very good advert for the "More money than sense" argument.

$_45.JPGAAAARRRGGHHHHHHHHH MY EYES!!!

This rare twin turbo Alfa Romeo GTV6 Callaway is for sale. There are few of these around, and this one has been fully restored in top end quality with over $110,000 (Approximately €80,000) spent on its restoration!

I like the sound of the that....but why the bodykit and the wheels?

Anyway, have a look, see what you reckon. Very wordy advert.

ANd it's £8100 RNM, BIN £40000.

I don't doubt that these things are probably rubbish in every conceivable way but regardless, this is hugely appealing purely because it looks like a jet plane.  Kind of.  Looks terrific, stripes and all.  My only issue with the seller's description would be describing the 3.4 V6 as 'economical'.  Perhaps in the USA it is, I doubt it'd quite match a 106 1.5D.  That's really not the point of having this though, is it?
