I've just rented this:

It's quite big.

It's also got electric, a workbench and even a phone point. I'm still not sure I can really afford it, but having been arse raped to the tune of around £700 in total on the last few cars I've bought and sold, I decided it was time to get myself somewhere where I can actually work on them properly (rather than in the drive being bothered by rain / neighbours / ladybirds or in my garage which has no power) and get my current surplus (Dolomite, Skoda, P6, Camry, and probably the Innocenti as well) MoT'd so I can sell them for decent money. Plus I don't have to worry about finding space for untaxed cars any more - I reckon you'd get ten in there if you packed them in tight. Once the fleet trimmage is complete, and I've got the 164 and the Renner Six roadworthy again, I might give it up, depending on how the finances are looking by then, but for the moment I think I'm going to rather enjoy it. :D

Where's that? Looks like a barn in Ascot I was offered, it had a steel front door but a side door made of wheetabix!

It's not too bad to be honest - 30 squid a week, which I think is quite reasonable for something that size. Unfortunately I've just had my overtime cut at work, so money's going to be a bit tight for the next few months (hence the forthcoming fleet trimmage).

YEAH!!!!Got me some space near work with some NSJC peeps. Not as big as yours though. Top find. Ours has a fridge, you should get a microwave so you can swear at your shite and eat some pies :)

£30/weeks alright man! Bet you could sub-let a couple of spaces up the back and cover the rent easy.

Pog's right. It is very cheap for the space considering it has leccy. You wouldn't get a unit that size where I live in Cheshire for less than £500 a month. Bear in mind we're pretty much paying what you are a week, but three of us, each, for a space smaller than that. I'd say you done well lad. Hirst has a nice bunker but gets buggered to a similar tune to me every month.

That looks great and £30 a week sounds mega cheap, You make that back and more doing a few PJ's dueing the week.Plus you can sleep there as you already have the bed set up!

Anyone else got a nice lock-up like this for £30 they could deliver :D

Looks stonkin' good value to me! Sub-let some spaces as suggested to help finance it perhaps? Excellent! Those ladybirds won't bother you now :)

Good stuff! That looks cheap enough to me, I'd be more than happy if I could find a unit that size for £30/week. I would expect to pay a lot more than that for that amount of space.Thoroughly jealous!!
