TL:DR;

 

I had a 103E about 10 years ago. I was both brave and lucky.

Never had any interaction with one of these, and given the stories told here I don't think I want any either!

I was weirdly tempted by this not-quite trailer queen a few years back... think the asking price was £500.

 

 

But I already had one rusty old Ford to contend with at the time, and couldn't really justify another.

 

Plenty of patina, mind!

 

 

 

 

Based on Mercrocker's reminiscences, I can only imagine the smell of the interior... is this how they are remembered by many, as dragged from collapsing wooden garages?
