with the winter coming in idea for alternative meet, pizza hut alll you can eat buffet, £10 a skull plus drinks and having filled our bellies today myself and flat4 can recommend it. There is a pizza hut at falkirk which should be pretty handy for the usual crew... Meet up, talk motors then get fed and eat the place empty... anyone up for it????

The thing is, we have established a good relationship with the Rowan Tree over the years.

 

It's no bother to book, the food is varied, cheap and tasty and the staff brand new. They don't mind a dozen or so miscreants coming together from the fringes of automotive society, staying till closing time, staining their car park with various motoring fluids and standing around talking shite till gone midnight.

 

Its also fairly isolated so nobody bothers us as its deserted at night, parking is good and its right on a great road to take each others cars for a bimble/blast.

 

I like a Pizza but the place would likely not allow us to stay late. Parking at that end of the Retail Park is impossible at night because of the cinema and gym and further back its full of gangs of kids roaming around and boy racers.

 

Falkirk Retail park is the single most unpleasant place I have ever been and living close by, that unfortunately has to happen fairly regularly.

 

It's a good idea to mix the meet venue up but I won't be attending any meets there I'm afraid.

was just an idea for a sunday meet in daylight, i have no issues with the rowan tree, good scoff, good price and good company
