It did not matter about the running problems; at worst they were inconvenient hindrances. I believe any other car would've failed but the R16 just swallowed up the kilometres, often at full throttle, in spite of the faults. And I was able to sit in armchair comfort the whole way. Just fix the cigarette lighter!

This years Mezidon trip has been achieved.

It's well worth a day trip, it's less than an hour from Caen or Dieppe.

Current and ex autoshiters were met

I'm deffo going again next year.

Ouisterham is where the Caen ferry docks. Riva Bella  is a short walk from the port.

Eh, foot passengers are on that boat all the time, is it a covid thing ?

in the little drop down menu theres no choice for foot passenger

tried aferry and if you pick foot - it gives you newhaven and at the bottom it says portsmouth - no price - i think cos it freight only atm even for sept its still same even tho it might be lifted by then

The beauty of this event for Brits is that it's right next to the ferry port so no need to get shafted by Brittany ferries to bring your car.

The problem this covid year, there's no foot passenger service.

Also at the event there was no stalls selling tat

By "tat" I mean shonky old car parts and the like.

Hopefully next year covid will have fucked off.
