...and it went down fighting! Chap rang me today, I explained about the cutting out (it was advertised as 'needs attention') and he said he would call back later. Phone was ringing when I got back from picking O/H up from work (using her disastra till I get the Rover taxed, waiting on insurance certificate). Chap only lives up the road, he came down and had a look. Wanted it for his son, who ATM has a 'T' plate Rover 200 withe a kippered H/G (the words 'frying pan' and 'fire' spring to mind, but still...) Took it for test drive, it didn't cut out. Offers £175, I accept. We sort out the paperwork, he gets back in the car to drive it away, and it wouldn't start... AARRGGGG! So he leaves on the drive, blocking O/H's motor in, and with the taxless Rover sat outside next door's, saying he had to go to pick his son up. Returned later, and we dragged it to his place with his delightfuly shitey Rover 400 disesal. Parked on the grass outside, I will keep my eye on it...
