Ugh, you dirty old man: moss/fungus removers

On a related note then, how about getting algae off of soft tops? The Saab looks like this:

A Google brought up glowing testimonials for Ecover limescale remover on Pistonheads, so I've just spent half an hour before work brooming it in to the hood. Obviously, it's done bugger all (although it is at least a bit less hairy - Geoff the cat at number 29, I'm looking at you).

So, what works? I'm a bit reluctant to use household mould remover as it generally works by bleaching the shit out of whatever you use it on. Milton tablets?

I hate to think what would happen if you pressure-washed an Ami

Probably make it accelerate faster than it's own engine can achieve.

I would second that (the autoglym hood cleaning kit) and use that. Try and refrain from soaping the hood as you’ll be there forever and a day trying to wash it out!

A soft broom would work best for scrubbing that roof with an anti-algae wash (like mentioned above).
