I tried to like the Alfa Giulietta but that front is so ugly and a few grand more than the Astra 

 

To be fair, a £19k bASe Giulietta isn't in the Astra market, that competitor would be the £11.5k Fiat Tipo.  Giulietta aims at costlier 'GTi' sportiness from zee Germans, not Astras built by Scousers

Did the company not mention the possibility of a works car a few weeks back?

 

I would have been asking if a car allowance was available as an alternative, that way you could have kept the Astra
