Wasn't expecting much at this show but it's only ten miles away so trundled along, a good excuse to try out my new little Ricoh compact camera (which I'm highly delighted with.)

Do nothing for me but thought the colour suited it

Was very taken with this, being an auto barge lover. Excellent condition, V8 auto and looked very comfy inside. Wind up windows!

It's a Mini

Probably the best car at the show and in superb nic. Loving all those fifties/sixties estate car conversions. Wasn't this one called a Friary?

There was also what seemed a genuine D Type Jaguar which must be worth a fortune but as I had no interest in it didn't get a pic. Prefer Peugeot 204s to D Type Jaguars.

That last one is great, all weird angles and strange bits!

Can't confess to being a great lover of car shows and car meets. Usually rows of cars crammed in with no room to photograph, and surrounded by people. Cars look best on the road or in an urban environment, not on grass or, god forbid, in a studio.

These two are my favorites!, Old Vauxhalls have really grown on me over the years and I'd love any of these two!

How cool is that exhaust coming out of the rear bumper in that last shot! 8)

The FB Victor is gorgeous, I really miss mine :( I'm 99% sure I passed that blue Midget on the motorway when I was in Kent a few weeks ago, looked in lovely nick. And that Mini is fab - just how I like them 8)

Old Vauxhalls are at last starting to make money. With the exception of the PA, most of the rest of the late 50/60/70's stuff wasn't worth a light, but PB/PC Crestas are climbing in value, as are FD/FE range. Ventoras are a lovely old car, if a little thirsty. Better than equivalent Granada IMHO

Time to dust off my Oregon pics for some dried out F-Type goodness :P
