mercrocker Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Brakes, Brakes and more Brakes. Stopping the fucking cars has been a lot more troublesome than keeping them moving ever was. I won't bore you with all the details but FFS. For the first time in 20 plus years I have bought a winter modern. What a fucking revelation that Fiesta has been - and all because I haven't bonded with it or felt the need to "maintain" it beyond level checks and tyre pressures. It lives outside so no buggering about with car port gates at 5 am, no worrying about the salt and trying to keep it clean - the rain has washed it microscopically less cleaner than I used to keep the Minor in the winter but best of all I am not underneath the bloody thing greasing it every three or four weeks. I do worry about this nonchalance but it's a winter thing. Oh, and the brakes are spot-on, too.... Disposable motoring - I had forgotten how liberating it is. cort16 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 The day I lost changing the radiator on the wifes Seat Leon re-affirmed why I run new cars for daily duties. I then have more time to scuff my knuckles and get brake fluid in my eye working on more worthy* stuff. chodweaver, Split_Pin and mercrocker 3
Bren Posted March 14, 2018 Author Posted March 14, 2018 You should try doing that shit to make a living ! At least you don’t have miserable unreasonable and downright stupid customers to deal with after you can’t finish their car while they drive it down the road .I concur.
chodweaver Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 But what i lack most is motivation. Stupid. Sent from my BV6000 using Tapatalk
