Water ingress via the loom is apparently a known fault on early Mins. I'm taking it off again tomorrow to open up the casing and see what the internals are like.

Whilst WD40 is a decent at dispelling water, it'll fuck up electrical connections if you lather it all over. It doesn't evaporate cleanly, it leaves a film that dust sticks to.

 

Might be worth cleaning all the WD40 style crap off, seeing if the BCM works then, and if it does treating the water ingress at source.
