Land Rover 300TDi tuning (EDC)

Has anyone tuned the fueling on a 300TDi running EDC?

 

It seems there is a cheap mod involving a variable resistor:

Is the Ron box anything more then a resistor in fancy a box?

There is also a "Morgan" Boost pin that can be used to adjust the fueling.

(Well I think that's what it was called - At work so cant do a proper interweb search to confirm, but I believe there is a Youtube video on fitment)
