A quick request for assistance from berlingo lickers.

Wife has just called me to say she's locked the only key for our (older) berlingo in the car. (It's self re-locked as it doesn't see the tailgate open switch)

Can you get into one without glass breakage?

Sorry, I don't know of any tricks, but I would imagine you'll need to try and poke a bit of plastic strapping or something through the door and pull the knob up.

If you do go for smashage, it may actually be easier to replace a front door window as I'm pretty sure they're the same as the van version, and there will be more of those being broken.

Eventually did it with the length-of-string-with-a-slip-loop and jam-the-front-door-open-a-bit method.

I have now confiscated the keys.

I have now confiscated the keys.

Im afraid I dont know of any shortcut methods ( unlike other Citroens of earlier vintage where opening the boot was fairly easy).

Timpsons will do you a new transponder key ( not plip) for about £25 which means you can at least open the car and drive it if you lose the plip.
