Lidl dash cams?

Got a couple of these the other week, and now my 12v - USB and 2M mini USB lead have arrived, have just fitted one.

 

It is a bit in any passengers face, which is a shame.

It is mounted right at the top of the screen, too. The best and IMO only suitable place.

 

My question is, can you turn the screen off on most dash cams?

 

These Lidl ones seem decent for £40 and the 3 year warranty is obviously a plus.

 

Anyone else got one?

Screen times out after 5 mins on mine.(similar but from Aldi).

Ahh. Hope this does. No SD card in ATM so that may be why it stayed on for the 15 or so mins I was farting on putting the glove box back in and tidying up etc.

Generally have a motion sensor in the better ones.Go for a drive and the display should shut off.

Hope it does. Will go out later on when me tyre black dries (I know, I know...)

It claims to detect bumps and the like.

I just bought it cos it was 1080p and 40 quid. Seemed decent enough. Lol.

Yeh,mines brill for the money and same 3yr warranty.

put the biggest capacity , fastest card in that you can , they eat up space when recording and need the card to be fast , class10 ?

i got the prestigio roadrunner 320i seems fine cost £19.99,nice and tiny still has the usual fullhd,motion dect etc..
