Trailer tent shite

Just got my early 70's dandy out ahead of carfest after 10 years. It's like the day it went in my lockup. Stinks a bit like. Proper musty old caravan smell.

Growing up we had a folding caravan thing called a 'chateau mobil' I'd love to find one. Anyone got anything similar?

Mine has solid bits.   Not that it smells any better or keeps us any drier.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does fold away though so can be ignored until needed.   Being low profile as well as light(ish) at 9cwt fully loaded it doesn't kill the Minor either.

 

 

 

 

Only used it a couple of times this year but it's going on a jaunt tomorrow up to Gloucester....In a shower of rain by the look of it.   

 

 

It is a useful bedroom to tow behind the damper van, too

Didn't another thread contain a recent picture of some hero towing a 'van with an AMI recently?     Quite a few Portafolders have 2cv tugs.

Away to Northumberland tomorrow in mine, pics are from the day I picked it up last year, used it a few times last year, but first outing of the year tomorrow.
