In a couple of days I will have my photos ready from this years Moffat Classic Car Show featuring our own mrcitroen's beautiful Citroen GS, a Datsun, a beige Montego and two, unmodified MK1 Golf's there weren't GTi's.

Very nice selection there. That Corolla is rather lovely, I can imagine how sweet it would be to drive. The MG is a handsome thing.

 

The Mk3 Cortina is the spit of one I used to see in the late '80s, same colour and a 2dr with the twin lights, but that had a set of chrome steelspoke wheels fitted and it looked amazing. It has to be said if I owned that particular one above I'd do the same even now.

That Toymotor looks very well preserved! As does the Nova. Got to be the Cortina Ghia for me though. Nice photos!

Out of that lot, the only one coming home with me would be the Corolla. I do like '70's Jap cars.

You caught some if the crackers if the day. I did like the Pararie. Good to see things like that at shows. The MG men may not like it, but when was the last time you seen one?

 

The Datsun100A was just lovely. The Beetle in drag is interesting. A lot if time and effort in putting that together. It would have been far easier to buy the real thing, so credit where credits due!

That brown Allaggro is local to me. It once passed me when the GS had a FTP and I was waiting on the AA flatbed. How embarrassing that was.
