If so you could strip the red one and build modern running gear into it, I imagine that could be the perfect car for you - classic looks but lots of electronic challenges to keep you busy

Unfortunately I've only had an offer accepted. Quite a while left to actually getting a new pad unfortunately. I even need to find somewhere first!

Agreed, the white stripes are a crap popular beat combo & look as bad as they sound on that car.

I really liked the stripes and thought it suited it! I also like the fact there is a historic back story to it. There are far more horrific things you can do to mod cars.

 

A bit like this poor old thing. I wish I could buy that and fix its appearance back to what it came out the factory like.
