Anyone bought any cat C cars off there?

There is a car I am very fond of (very fond of, personally) that has turned up and I want to buy the thing back. Yes, I have been watching the site like a hawk for it to appear!

Anyone who can help me out with help of registration, bidding and buying of a cat C car from them I will be forever in your debt.

Thanks

TRW (and Mrs TRW)

I've heard the fees are bum rapingly expensive, and my old rear ended Crocus was up at £695, seriously? They also aren't careful with vehicles there either

Aye fee's add up quite a bit and our Eastern European brethren are happy to pay high prices for pretty much anything

What sort of % are the fees?

I have my limit, set by SWMBO

Fees are crazy, they damage the cars and don't store them well, and employees pinch desirable parts off cars before they've even been released to the breakers - several people i know have wanted to buy their salvage back only to find it's been in Copart's hands and extracting the (profitable) vehicle back has been... difficult.

Having said that all the info on fees is on their website. Caveat Emptor.

She didn't want to buy it back off Insurance co, until I whinged enough.......They have sent the payment out already.

By that time Copart had their hands on it, and we have to send off V5, spare keys, M.O.T etc.........

I just want my car back TBH.....Even though it's not mine, its hers.......

I can arrange to bid on it for you, but everything RichardK says - and more - is true. The only way they move cars around is by forklift. It WILL be more damaged when you get it back than when it left you.

I've been there

Just accept you won't see it again

I have no intention of repairing it, I know that it is not going back on the road. Not even I have the strength anywhere near level 69 Bo11ox welding standards to fix this one.

I want it back for spares. That's all.
