Lexus/ Toyota parts order by part number online

Apologies for a thread which is approaching modern but the Lexus is 16 years old now!

I need to order some suspension bolts, i've got the part numbers from the US fische sites, just need to order the parts, the nearest dealer is 20 miles away, it would be much easier to order and get them posted to me! Any ideas on sites - everything I can find is in the US

I have had dealers post stuff before.

 

As long as pay by phone they are normally happy

I'll try that tomorrow, last time it was hard work and a weeks wait till they even put their parts order in though.

Trick I found was to find an older guy working in parts. He often gave more of a toss

I've found the same - not Lexus (never had one) but others, both car and bike, it's all business/money through the till to them. Found this even before the days of online shopping. 

 

The only thing I'd advise is to be real certain on what you are after - parts numbers will go a long way, I've also found the more organised you are, the better the service you receive as a rule. (ie: don't sound like some vague, woolly-minded timewaster!).

My admittedly limited experience of Toyota dealerships was good; they were happy if not always successful in getting parts for the Levin.

Sorted, local Toyota dealer happy ordering Lexus parts as numbers I supplied were the same as a Harrier. 2 items on back order though
