Need bonnet moving (maybe from Kidderminster)

My neighbours daughter has pranged her 206, which she hasn't had long and is very upset.

Fortunately it only needs to a new bonnet, and there seem to be a few around.  Also there was no damage to the guy that she hit so no need to ruin her insurance.

Unfortunately none are near, and none of the breakers will post one.  The dialogues that I have had with them suggest that delivery people are not capable of moving a bonnet without damaging it.

Her 206 is actually in really nice condition (apart from the bonnet) and well worth saving but it this means it needs one in nice condition and the right colour.

So far I found one in Kidderminster but that's a fair old round trip from Ruislip.

I have had some quotes on Shiply but how do I know that they won't damage it either, and I'm not even sure that the breaker will had it over to a Shiply guy.

Is the car drivable?

 

Not really able to help with courier services , but should be able to turn up with tools to assist it you can drive the 206 to Kidderminster.

Swap the bonnet over and either leave the old one with seller, or we can try and hammer it into a shape it will fit in the back of my Rover.

Yes it is drivable.  The bonnet doesn't lock properly (it's only on the safety catch) but one could easily put a ratchet strap over it to stop it blowing open.

The problem is time.  I don't really want to drive to Kidderminster and back, what I want is to pay someone £50 to deliver it without damaging it.

Yes it's Carmas.

 

Basically we need a bonnet for a Y reg 206 with paint code EYC, and it needs to be in reasonable nick as the rest of the car is nice.

 

Happy to pay a reasonable amount for shipping if someone from there is coming London(ish) way.

The bonnet has been picked up and is due in Ruislip tomorrow morning.
