It's the stabby bits that will be the best bits, I reckon.

Having met stillOrange, I confirm that he could do a passable (camper)Van Helsing, so hopefully he will be proof against any purpleness.  Choff plenty of Polish garlic sausage just in case, chap.

Spike can hopefully rely on being sufficiently spikey to ward off any crazy Whitby type stuff.

Probably pass for locals then.

The bit of this that involved me is done, stillOrange last seen headed up Blue Bank in Fiat Camper. Discs crusty, clutch hissy and gear linkage a bit seized. Bonnet went all shy and wouldn't open plus it took an age to jump off until I turned BMW around and went straight from battery rather than under bonnet jump points. Hey ho, we live and learn.

Rather dull affair with a total lack of bread knives, angry natives or plod. Sorry.

Posh camper with leather and only a few dints.

StillOrange has stopped for a break somewhere near Nottingham. It seems 2h of running has not resurrected the battery. Currently waiting on International Rescue. (Green Flag)

This is the true spirit of autoshite, in real time action. Top men.

Last time I was in Whitby, I was with a coach load of ramblers, and most of us ended up with food poisoning from the pub in Sleights

Camper arrived safe 'n' sound at 7 tonight in Oxfordshire.

The lovely StillOrange is here watching telly after a convivial supper (despite my manky cooking).   The van is mucho posh and in good nick despite being on its bum for ages.  My bro is very grateful indeed to StillOrange and Spike, who must qualify for  some sort of Autoshite medals for this fine caper.

stillOrange just drove me with much smooooothness to the nearest railway station in my SD1, and there he hopped on a train to Manchester.

That polish sentence is far too good to be translated by google or similar.

You must have got it from a polish speaker.

I'm glad to be of help.

I wish that I had got the terminology from my favourite Polish speaker (apart from you, of course), but she speaks not to me these days.   It is just Google!
