Anybody used this or know how it works? I stuck something on it but get the feeling theres not a lot of traffic yet, competition for ebay can't be a bad thing though.

Tried it

But despite advertising quite specifically what I have and what I'm after I still get offered either shagged Chinese scooters or a broken Xbox.

So if anyone fancies swapping the Peg 650 for a smaller bike let me know...

Nowhere near as busy at it was, still can be good but more than one timewaster on there and a hell of a lot of undeclared Cat C/D motors kicking about.

Back in 2012 I did quite a few deals through there starting with a shagged Fiesta that owed me about £400 culminating in a very nice E46 320i in mid 2013 that I sold for £2200.

As Billy says traffic does seem to have slowed right down recently, it used to be quite busy.

Very much a case of being aware what you are swapping for and fully checking everything over.

I used to try things on the swapz site aswell, & found it to be a bit meh.... Also,Through that site I got offered a swap for a nice looking (in the pictures anyway) Focus ST170.

However, after a bit of digging & questioning, it transpired that the guy who was offering the focus, did not have the log book at all for it (said he lost it..)

Needless to say, I told him to leave it.

It does seem very quiet nowadays though.

I used to love the swaps bit on local radio.  "Wanted:- two ferrets, swap for concrete coal bunker"

"Next on we've got Derek from West Bridgeford. What have you got Derek?"

"Aaah, yes, hi Dennis. I've got a wedding dress that's never been used, and some tickets to Mexico. All inclusive"

"Wow, ok! And what are you looking to swap them for?"

"Well Dennis, I'd love a load of pornography, an industrial carpet cleaner and someone to say I was with them last Thursday. The cheating bitch"
