MoT test advisory: tyre 'rake' ?!?!

I was keeping an eye on a woman at works car (53 plate CRV) on the MoT site on Friday to see if it passed.

 

It passed with the following advisory:

Advisory notice item(s)

Offside Rear tyre starting to rake in parts

 

Gave it a google but can't work out what it means.

Tread blocks wearing in saw tooth profile either across or around the tyre?. Astra rears seem to do it well.

I'll have a look at the tyre tomorrow and see how it looks.

Don't know but whatever it means she probably wants a new pair of tyres.

Probably auto correct. I use my mobile phone to MOT cars, I'm sure others do too
