Apparently the diving was a washout, Zippy managed one dive on the Friday but that was it :-/

The diving was curtailed on Saturday, due to the searching and collection of an alternator, which necessitated a 160 mile round trip to Dumfries.

As it turns out, no one dived anyway, due to the swell.

Sunday was worse than Saturday for swell, so we settled for a 100 mile trip out to make sure the fan belt stayed where it should be, and to check for symptoms of running 6 miles without a water pump.

well, as it happens.......

i found an identical p reg disco for £1450, saw it on the A75 on the way to Dumfries. Called into see it on the way back........

Horrendously over priced, and the bloke wasn't forthcoming in selling the alternator and belt, so i left it where it was!

ooooh a bit low, but the second part of the comment is partly true. (I may have had a beer or 2)
