How to shift a car to scrapyard

2/3 of way through taking what I can off it. Today took alternator off and starter motor. Because I'm tight I also syphoned out the washer fluid.

 

Took all the fuses, bulbs and relays out. Having them to hand if I need them is invaluable. Again plus I'm tight.

 

Doing all this has reminded me why I love the Focus Mk1, the 1.6 in these is an absolute doddle to work on for a modern car.

I have a massive bag of fuses that I stripped out if my puma when I scrapped that.

 

To get it to the scrap yard I borrowed amys brother in law and his Mitsubishi warrior, we then borrowed amys banger racer uncles trailer (I did offer him the puma but he said their shit to banger?) and we took it to asm, amy following on behind because bil wasn't fully insured to tow or summat, and the trailer was not fully legal...

 

Went fine though, I'd kept the wheels on though so we could roll it. We then drank the £100 I got in the pub, and I gave him £20 for fuel and thanks

You just don't get that experience swapping one PCP for another. Took wiper motor out and the boot latch.
