So the slushbox on my Passat W8 gets quite warm on my commute. So I decided to google for any problems.

All things considered putting "suspect hot trannys" in google wasn't probably the best idea !!

Has anyone else had a laughable search return (thinking "nice photos of creampie" etc) ;-)

We use voltage signal generators at work to test instrumentation, i.e. we set the generator to 5 volts and see if the instrument displays 5 vilts, then callibrate the instrument to suit. Colloquially, we call them 'voltage squirters'; a Spanish colleague didn't quite understand so google "squirter"... :-o
