michiel Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 First and last one plz - silly fun vehicles, excellent.
VWPowered Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 some great ol' machinery there, can you still drive on the beach in Southport
Father Ted Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 can you still drive on the beach in Southport Only when the tide is out! - I have some more pictures to load up later, mostly of old busses and traction engines and steam driven fairground rides. Lovely it was. Oh and got some excellent black pudding too.
IanF Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Excellent stuff - lots of British trucks.Had to do something at work the other day which made me realise that there were only two truck manufacturers in the U.K. - Leyland Daf and Dennis. Made me quite sad considering the number of old names there once was
keef Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Nice Wolseley! Can also be seen here :- http://www.drivearchive.co.uk/vehiclepixg/20815.jpg
Split_Pin Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I havent seen one of these at a show before. Must be quite rare. There used to be a grille for one of these hidden at the back of the haulage yard I used to work at. Should have taken it. Instead I robbed a scrap MG metro of bits I could put on my wall. Great show by the looks of it.
bigstraight6 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 OOF! top quality 'big stuff' right there! love the Leyland Beaver, ERF 'A' series with Cummins diesel power, Guy 'big J 8', and the Pickfords liveried Diamond T and Scammell
Steve_RS Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Dont suppose there was a red AEC mandator there was there? My mate painted one the other week in post-box red. Got to be rare to see AEC's these days.
michiel Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Yum.... 'Sinshine', is that some kind of Freudian typo?
