Where's it now?!

Sadly even after having New wings bonnet front panel, and proper repairs to rear floor wings and sills at 10 years of age.Daily use continued to rot the poor thing out. Horrible rot around the rear trailing arm mounts killed it eventually. Sold it complete for spares in the early naughties.

I've got my huge S210 E320 CDI wagon.

V reg, few scabs, 193k on the clock. Loads of history with it, had injector seals after it popped one in Belgium (drove home with no issues, just stayed off boost most of the time), keeps on ticking, will keep going until the shell falls off but I've had it welded up properly where it had rot.

It still needs work, it always will, it's an old Mercedes estate car. It's a good old thing though. It's worth, realistically, about £1200 I reckon.

What could I replace it with four that kind of money? Not much. There aren't many estates the same size, not many that are quicker, and it's got all the toys. It does 1000 miles in 15 hours at 35 mpg.

I'll keep throwing money at it to keep it going until the newer ones are closer in price.

There's a B2500 Mazda for sale down the road from me, it's been parked up for months. Going for £795 which I think is cheap for its '12 months MOT'. Looks rough though!

She looks alright ready for some red oxide 'n diesel. 4wd's tend to eat themselves and end up quite clunky mind.
