Why so cheap Mr.Mazda?

They just called to confirm pickup tomorrow, said they are fixing the advisories too, how nice of them eh?

Will waxoyl everything come summer, im not very handy with cars (yet) but father in law is brilliant so will learn from him.

Getting aftermarket parking sensors installed too, coming from a hocus pocus to this looks scary, read somewhere that you cant really see the back end at all when parking, want to keep its shiny arse intact.

Also we named him Rusty.

Not quite true, because Mazda. Usually the big blue spanner is needed to free off the slides, which sometimes come out like a bullet.

Even worse then! Anyway I'm surprised the garage has volunteered to replace the brakes. Anyway so fuck at least it's one less thing to worry about.

Spot on glad they are clearing the advisories for you. Make sure the arches are clean. no mud and wash the salt out when you can over the winter and get them oiled up when the weather improves.

MOT Now passed, they should call me for pickup any minute now!

Same as what I paid for the 2.0 Mondeo I had. You'll find it's surprisingly decent on fuel I used to average an easy 33mpg knocking to work and back.

Got the car now, love it!

Taking a friend back to uni on the 8th of jan to run it in, get the most out of the warranty if anything should break, about 220+ miles all together.

Pixxxxx as promised

Also, automatic AC is the best thing ever, boiler being nearly broken in the house makes me just want to go out and sit in the car.

1 like = one less rust.

Pray for me.

Update time!

So nearly one year later after disregarding all your advise and buying the Mazda 6 I don't regret doing so, it has been 100% bulletproof with no more arch rust now than it had a year ago.

However due to the not optimal MPG I am selling it (£1200 teeside area) because I got a new job and my total daily commute is going from 4 miles to 30 miles.

I looked around for a while, mostly looking at VW 1.9TDI engine'd cars or 320d's for under £1500.

So of course i went Japanese and put down a deposit today on a 2001 Toyota Avensis 2.0 D-4D T3-X (This one specifically > https://goo.gl/ThUfJ6)with 150k.

I like the "wood" and the price, its comfy and it runs, has GPS without a screen which i think is neat but will never be used.

I hear this model has a good reputation for reliability, what do you guys think?

^Half the price of a 56 plate 318i and somewhat more reliable. GLWS.

Some time ago I went from 14 miles a day to 50 miles a day. The few mpgs less I got with a petrol was offset by the fairly high chance of expensive trouble with a diesel. £1500 and 150k diesels will very probably cause you a headache.

I've gone from a 1.9 TDI Ibiza to a 1.5 petrol Mazda 2 and I do 90 miles a day. Constant EML/EGR/DMF worries are not worth the money saving.

Diesels are ok if you are spending cheap and you accept there’s going to be a day when you get up to go to work and it throws its shit out the Pram. You’ve then to chuck it and start again. On a 10-15 year old diesel you aren’t buying a life partner.

I might* have brought this up pre-purchase.
