Auto choke = wife can drive it.She's a wuss and won't even try to drive the MazdaPlus she says its scary as it is too big!Women!

No car is easier to drive than these things. Specially an auto! As long as you have 2 functioning eyes, an arm and a leg you are fully equipped to deal with a Maz 929. tell your Mrs to sharpen up!

Tell me about it. After driving the Mazda for 6 months, i wasn't prepared for the sheer effort required to pilot the Avenger!

I can't see what all this manual choke fuss is about TBH...I learnt to drive in a 2001 Micra. I then had a Ford Prefect 100E, a Mk1 Escort (should've kept it!) and a Mini Mayfair. With literally no training at all I found them to be a piece of piss.Has she ever actually tried one? I can sort of understand if she's had a bad choke-related experience but if she just thinks that it'd be too complicated then... er... well she's wrong really...She can have a few 'choke lessons' in my Mini if she wants...
