Kiltox Posted December 18, 2016 Author Posted December 18, 2016 I need to change the pollen filter first and foremost but I think something's up with the system for sure It takes a while to actually turn on after starting the engine which I don't remember my last one doing
SiC Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 I'll guess because the diesel takes its time to warm up. Mine won't do much with the fan until the engine has got a little bit of heat in it. I much prefer that than freezing cold air blasted at me!
Kiltox Posted December 18, 2016 Author Posted December 18, 2016 It doesn't even power up beyond its backlight for about 30 seconds or more though Diesel taking forever to warm up is a different story - I think the thermostat is suspect but it doesn't cool down again on a long motorway run which is confusing

SiC Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Broken/bodged wire related to the aftermarket stereo? I wonder if the live power feed has come off (if it has one) and so going through a full reboot or something when the ignition is on.
