My brothers 730 was a third of that cost, and a v8;)

 

Tbh I think the issue is I'm a stubborn auld bastard and like the e32 too much!

 

Regardless of actual merit/technical advances and increased comfort/reliability an e38 may offer.

 

I can be a contrary auld bugger .(see Also e34 vs e39 in my opinion).

 

Interesting following the work on these e38s though, a world away from e30s!
