I've had a look at this myself, and think age excludes most cars on here!

I had to pay 45 quid for bloody day insurance last week, and I only needed it for an hour!

I should have opened this thread earlier as I've just taken out day insurance for the raffled corolla.

Aviva gave me the cheapest quote of £20 including breakdown cover.

I can get day insurance under £20 from Aviva. I'd probably go for that rather than even shorter term in case I got stuck in traffic or ended up having to move the car again later in the day.
