Another mystery item, the big socket is for lorry hubs I guess? 2 9/16" marked on it. What the foot long hex thing is for I'm unsure too.

Does the socket fit the hex on the long bit? Looks too short though.

No, it is too short and way smaller, the long fella is 4" across the flats.

Pity scrap price is low then.

Although if you pull an half shaft out, think minor but much bigger, maybe be the short bit of the long bit fits down the hole.

The thin hex fits the bearing nut and you stick a bar through the hole as a lever.       Nah first idea was best.
