My wife is looking at booking a weekend for me and her there next month for my 29th. Plaining a B&B for the weekend on the 15th of May to look at the autojumble, and Ford Anglia show. Has anyone got any tips where to say, What to look at and do whilst we are there? Cheers P.S I'm a bit pissed :-0 Making the most of the £101 i won this afternoon :-)

Hi, Just intrested in know where the best place to stay is, Is it worth a travelodge or hoilday inn or to stick to a B&B?I'm planning to stay on a Friday and Saturday night.Never been before but have been told it's good and as there is a special on that weekend with cars for sale then i might even be coming home with something extra... (I wish!)

If you pre-book, you might find a B&B in Brockenhurst-but most places are booked solid sometime in advance. Even the New Forest campsites are full -or near so. Wont be cheap-eitherThere are a few cheap Travellodge type places around Southampton-itself around 20-30mins from Beaulieu.Easiest to find is at Rownhams Services- on M27, about 1 mile short of the M271 turnoff that is part of the 'back way in'.Alternately there are a fewat the bottom of M271-near the ferry terminals.Hope that helps
