Automotive Fostering.

Cars need care. They need love. They need somewhere safe to live, free from the threat of Lexus rear lights and 21inch wheels.

Some automobiles have had a difficult life and have suffered terrible mistreatment, meaning they have complex needs of care. People willing to provide short or medium term care of this nature are hard to find and desperately needed.

I know some of you take in waifs and strays occasionally, for the short or medium term until a better home can be found, and this thread is somewhere for you to share your experiences.

This aging Pug was found cowering in a lane near a railway station in the Midlands. It was looking slightly worse for wear but once fed it proved to be a very reliable and eager to serve.

It didnt stay with me long, but we spent a nice week together zooming around the coastal roads of the North East before a more permanent home was found locally.

Some of us with limited space and fimunds cant ever maintain a fleet, but we can still keep the wheels turning and find better homes for the overlooked, the underwhelming and the needy.

What cars have passed through your care without ever seeing a test or insurance cover note?
